Staying a Step Ahead
Dear friends and neighbors,
At Sutter Delta Medical Center (SDMC), we will continue to
respond to the growing need for quality health care in East Contra
Costa County. We believe you may have to travel for work, but
when you’re sick, the best care is close to home.
As our community continues to grow and change, so will SDMC.
To meet the unique needs of our patients, we’ll be expanding a variety
of our services and welcoming new specialists to our highly
skilled medical staff. We have been engaged in a recruitment campaign
to bring the best and brightest to East Contra Costa County.
In the past year, we have welcomed:
◾ A general surgeon
◾ A spine surgeon
◾ An OB/GYN physician
◾ A pediatrician
We are also expanding our staff further. Over the coming months, we are recruiting:
◾ Another general surgeon
◾ A thoracic and vascular surgeon
◾ Internal medicine and family practice
physicians
Along with our staff growing, we are also expanding our services. Some of our new or
expanded services will include:
◾ A 64-slice CT scanner
◾ A cardiac catheterization
and vascular lab
Additionally, I am eager for the spring opening of a state-of-the-art cancer center, spearheaded
and funded by a Sutter-affiliated physician group. The new 20,000-square-foot
facility will be located on Dallas Ranch Road, just off Lone Tree Way. For details, see page 7.
